I have put together this ppt for the kids containing some information about Uganda.

Africa Greater Life Mission / Afrikai misszió
I have written about Karina's penfriend Praise here. Andy and Christine from Africa Greater Life Mission are the ones who found her for us. And they were our visitors this weekend. So we heard a lot about what is going on in Praise's village.
"Bulabakulu Village currently houses about 120 children with 10 or so adults to care for them. All are now housed in dormitories or small family houses. A primary school has been built for the village and the surroundings and it currently has around 250 pupils. Whilst some income is derived from fee paying students from the surrounding area, the wages of the staff and running costs of the school are largely met by AGLMUK. The school is still poorly resourced, certainly by UK standards, and more could always be done to improve basic teaching and learning facilities and equipment – even books and stationary. Living conditions at the village are still very basic, although improving gradually as resources are found and additional funds raised."
We were touched by the slideshow they had shown in church. Karina has put together a little parcel for Praise, including a favourite dress of hers and her favourite doll...
This is the last hug before her doll Barni set off to fly to Wales first. Praise's teacher is hping to fly to a visit to Wales in May, to see what Brittish education is like. She will then take Karina's parcel to Praise.

Egy olyan falut támogatnak, ahol 118 árva gyerekél 6 özvegyasszonnyal. Andy-ék vezették be a vizet, csináltak mosdó- illetve wc-helyiségeket, napelemet szereltek fel, felépítettek egy iskolát, és szponzorálnak 38 már középiskolába lépett diákot.
Nagyon megérintett minket az a bemutató, amit a gyülekezetben láttunk. Karina készített egy meglepetéscsomagot Praise részére, amit egyelőre Wales-be visznek el Andy-ék, onnan majd a kinti iskolaigazgatónő viszi tovább, aki remélhetőleg kap vízumot, hogy májusban brit iskolákat meglátogathasson. 27 éves, egyedüláló hölgy, akiről nem feltétlen hiszik el, hogy tényleg szakmai célzattal jön... Szóval ez is imatéma...
Karina egyik kedvenc ünneplőruháját is elküldte, valamint Barni nevű babáját is. A fényképen az utolsó búcsúölelés látszik... Boldogan adta, de azért fáj a búcsú...

Ugandian friend / Ugandai kis barátnő
We have a new penfriend, although it is very new. Praise lives in Uganda and she is 5 like Karina. We have sent her a letter and her letter is in the post to us. Karina is very excited:-) Following Carise gave us the thought of penfriending with someone. We hope it will last long.
