Plays for Christmas / Karácsonyi jelenetek

I found this cute play on the net and translated it into Hungarian. We are going to record it in advance and only play with puppets. Thank you, Michael!

Az első jelenetet mi Karinával bábként fogjuk előadni, felvett hanganyaghoz játszva.

Röviden: A betlehemi istállóban megjelenő emberek nagy meglepetést okoznak az ott élő állatoknak.

A másik jelenetet sógornőm írta. Ahhoz is előre felvesszük a hangot, de mindenki a saját hangjára fog bábozni. Csak így egyszerűbb, mint ha szöveget kell tanulnunk:-) A címe: Csodacsillag

I have prepared the first card for Karina to saw.
Már megrajzoltam és kilyuggattam az eső kártyát, zongoraóra után nekiláthat Karina a varrásnak...
Folyamatosan (bár elég lassan) varrogatunk. Elkészült az első remekmű, már meg is írta Karina.

Patchworking / Foltvarrás

We have received an invitation for learning the basics of patchworking. Karina and myself went along and made our first bits: 2 coasters + a centerpiece to go with it. She is very proud of them:-) I let her do the cutting and the positioning and only helped as little as possible. Frends of ours did the sawing - we don't have a machine...

Foltvarrásra kaptam meghívót, sé karina persze rettenetesen jönnia akrt. Sms-ben kaptunk is rá engedélyt, így együtt mentünk "varrni tanulni". Két poháralátétet és egy nagyobb alátétet készítettünk. Karina választotta az anyagokat, ő vágta ki és rakta össze a mintát. Én csak éppen csak igazítottam rajtuk egy kicsit. A varráshoz segítséget kértünk és kaptunk, mivel gépünk nincs (tudásunk meg pláne nincs...)
Karina borzasztó büszke az alkotásunkra, azóta azzal kell terítenünk... Vasárnap vendégünk volt, feldobta az asztalt az új készletünk. Nem?

Electronic educational games / Elektromos oktato jatekok

Although I can`t find these sold on the internet, I love them. There is this series of book called Smart Start Electronic Library System that goes together with an electronic device. You have to choose among four answers, and you can also choose from several different topics.
I found only one book on Amazon:-(
Karina played with one of these in these last few days, and I find it very helpful and fun at the same time. Photoes to come later... If anyone finds these sold on the net, please let me know.



The other is called Questron.
According to Wikipedia, `Questron was a battery-operated, interactive educational toy introduced in 1987 by Child's Play Ltd [1]. Used in conjunction with special books, the reader could press the tip of the pen-like Questron to an answer to a question - with audible and visual guides showing whether the selected answer was right or wrong.
There is a set of 11 books+wand on sale in the UK for only £2.50+pstg.
We haven`t tried this one (she liked Smart Start too much...) but it seems very good too.
