Nem nagy tanulás folyik mostanság... A mindenféle kirakók korát éljük, és persze a traktorok továbbra is mennek... Na meg a "Szép Kristóf" és "Aranyos Kristóf" meg a "Nemszopizik!" - vagyis bármilyen szép és aranyos, mert tényleg annak tartja, de mégiscsak ne legyek már annyit vele...

Cowboy printables / Cowboy-ozunk

I printed some of this pack yesterday and I left the laminated sheets on my bed. Barni was happy to find a horse and a cowboy among he other pictures. We have this poster on the wall with a riding cowboy and the verse from the Bible: All things were made through Him - this gave me the idea taht this pack might work with him. We'll see. Letter A / A betű - video

Letter B / B betű

We are starting Letter B this week. You can find free printables at Carisas.
He enjoyed dot-painting with me, and he copied my saying "Letter B" at every dot being painted. He does not understand the purpose of this activity at all, but we did use the dot-paint.

Marking the words with chesnut - gesztenyével jelöljük a  keresett szót.

A héten elkezdjük a B betűt angolul. Carisa nyomtatható anyagait itt találod!
Nagyon élvezte a pöttyözést! Igaz, hogy abszolút köze nincs hozzá, mit is kéne csinálni, de gyakorolja a műveletet:-) És mivel én a  bemutatásnál mondtam minden pöttynél, hogy "Letter B", ő is mondta lelkesen!

Letter A / A betű

It has been quite a while since we did table-time activities with Barni. He seems to be ready for some more. Actually he liked Karina's table in the living room so much, that we have to find another table for him, too. So now they both have their own table in there to work together.
I  printed the 'Letter A words' from Carisa a long time ago and we play with it often now. I laminated one sheet and cut another into flascards. He recognises all 9 words now and puts the chesnuts/coins/whatever we use on the proper picture. Also, he is able to put all 9 flaschards on the proper picture on his own!!!

He did this on his own!! / Teljesen egyedül rakta ki!

Bár régóta nem tanultunk asztalnál, most úgy tűnik, újra eljött az ideje (ennek is. A powerpointoknak is!!!) Olyannyira, hogy mindig Karina asztalánál akart ülni... Így aztán kénytelenek voltunk beszerezni egy újabb asztalt, és beállítani Karináé mellé a nappaliban. Most aztán tudnak egymás mellett dolgozni. (Bár az asztalokat alig-alig tudtam bepréselni arra a kis helyre...)
Korábban már kinyomtattam az A betűs gyűjteményt Carisa-tól, két példányban. Az egyiket lamináltam, a másikat csak feldaraboltam. Az ívre pakolászunk gesztenyéket, játékérméket, akármit - amit mondok, arra teszi a jelölőt. Sőt most már egyedül ráteszi az összes kártyát az íven a megfelelő képre!

Ana is sharing a free download with you. I quite like it so I printed it for Karina with added Hungarian words. She needs to practise reading in Hungarian now.

Ana-nál van egy ingyen letölthető őszi csoportosítós feladat, ezt egy kicsit átdolgoztam magyarra - két szót cseréltem le:-) Karina most dolgozik rajta... Most, miközben már írok, éppen szerepjátékkal küldözgeti a gyerekeket a helyükre...Közben Barni Carisa A betűs nyomtathatójával játszik párosítót. xsdssssssssss (Már nem, idejött az ölembe. Ezt a végét ő gépelte...)

Horseriding / Lovaglás

Karina started getting riding lessons in the summer. We don't go regularly, but try to go once in a while. Barni had nothing to do with a horse from up close until about 3 weeks ago when he was ready to sit on her together with Karina. This Saturday he was happy to ride with her for about 20 minutes!

Lovagolunk. Nem rendszeresen, csak időnként. Karina nagyon szereti, Barninak csak tetszettek a lovak. De kb 3 hete sikerült apának felvarázsolnia valahogyan Karina elé, és megtetszett neki. Szombaton már 20 percig "sétálgattak" a lovon. Tündériek voltak:-)

Tot school report / Totyogó iskolás visszatekintés

I just received this remark from a close friend of mine saying, '... I don't recall you teaching him soo intensly as you set out to teach Karina?'

Well, I did plan to teach Barni as hard as I taught Karina, but he is just different. Very different.
As soon as he was 6 weeks old, I started teaching him according to Glenn Doman's method. We used flaschards for reading English and Hungarian, and we did the dots for Maths. I also taught Italian to him, took him to German and Russian lessons, he also had a few French lessons (but it did not work for the teacher, so we stopped going). We also watched a baby-program in Chineese.
When he turned 1, we had to stop with all these. For a year or so he wanted to do nothing with flaschards or powerpoints, he just wanted to watch documentaries and movies of tractors. Tractors, tractors, tractors...  He is almost two now, and he seems ready to pick up learning again. He is talking a lot, though still not whole words, but we understand quite a lot. He is talking on both languages - which is awsome! He understands both, too. So I still have my hopes regarding him. And I will try to teach him again, for he seems willing now...

Watching Tractor Ted with daddy for the uptenth time...
