Holiday Part 3 / Nyaralásunk 3. rész

On Saturday we crossed the border to Slovakia to go and see the ruins of the castle in Filakovo (Fülek). The 5-storeyd Bebek-tower is restored, and there is an exhibition in it. You can go on some parts of the walls, too. An interesting point to this visit was that an ancester of mine was given the title of a noble in this very castle back in 1668. This is why I was wearing a T-shirt with our coat-of arm that day:-)
On the journey there the kids read their booklet I have prepared for them, so they were looking for things mentioned there.

Szombaton Fülekre mentünk, a várat néztük meg. Előre elolvastuk a kis füzetkéket, így már ismerősebb volt az egész.
A vár személyes érintettséggel is bír: egy távoli ősöm itt kapott nemesi rangot 1668-ban. Ennek örömére aznap a címeres pólónk volt rajtam (meg többünkön a családból)

Carisa's Big machines pack / Teherautós nyomtatnivalók

We started working on Big Machines tot pack. As it is about machines I leave it for dad, so they do it in Hungarian. I just cut off the English words from the picture set of 'I like big machines'. Barni is learning his numbers, he is happily repeating the numbers after us:-) (As some of the numbers are drawn slightly differently, I made alterations with a felt-tip pen.)

Három!!! (Three)

Elkezdtünk a teherautós totyogós csomagot. Még csak a számokat és a nagy sárga képeket nyomtattam ki, egyelőre azokat pakolásszuk. Mivel gépekről van szó, ezt általában apával nézegeti, tehát ezt magyarul csináljuk. Egyelőre csak levágtam az angol mondatokat, nem fordítgattam le magyarra még az anyagot. Ja, és a számjegyeket kicsit átrajzoltam, ahol kellett. Simán csak egy filctollal...
Tetszenek Barninak a számok, mondogatja utánunk őket:-)

Holiday part 2 / Nyaralás 2. rész

Istenmezeje - this is the name of a settlement in Northern-Hungary. We like the name so we went there one afternoon. There was this lovely rocky part we climbed. It is worthy of its name - FIELD OF GOD.
We learnt that Barni loves climbing - every time he saw a hill or a mountain, he set off for a climb...

Semmi különösebb látványosságról nem olvastunk ugyan, de úgy gondoltuk, ha már ilyen jó neve van ennek a közeli településnek, szétnézünk. Volt egy köves rész, ami nagyon szép volt, és kívánatos a megmászásra... Barni sem tudta kihagyni. Meg is állapítottuk, hogy neki aztán bejön a hegymászás!

Holiday Part 1 / Nyaralásunk 1. rész

We were invited to help with the kids camp last week. It was a reward trip for the 7 children attending our after-school program. Our accomodation was at Mátraterenye.
In the mornings there was a worship time + Bible study, also in the evening, and throughout the whole day there was much fun for the kids. I was busy with the children so Most of the time my husband Imi entertained Barni. Karina took part in the programs.
We went to Ipolytarnóc Fossils on Thursday. Altough it is a huge place with lots to see, as we went quite late we did not see much. We had quite a challenge at the Canopy walk, Imi did it first then Karina and myself did it together, chained to eachother. While everybody had a go on it, the rest of us were enjoying ourselves at the playground. You won't believe, but there really was a tractor working next to the playgorund - Barni just LOVED it!

Fasten it - open it...

Bake an online cake! / Süss online!

I just found this site with free games for girl. We did a dress up game first then we baked a bundt cake.  
You van even print the cake. We had much fun:-) Karina is going to bake one on her own now.

Sok ingyenes lányos játék gyűjteményéhez kaptam linket Renitől. Öltöztetőst játszottunk kicsit korábban, majd sütöttünk itt egy online kuglófot. Ki is nyomtattuk a képét. Most meg egyedül fog sütni:-)

Chores for Karina / Karina feladatai

For the summer I printed a chore-sheet for Karina from DLTK. I will try to organise her days a bit with the help of this. We will use stickers to show which activity is done.

A feladatokat és napokat egy táblázatba rendeztem a DLTK segítségével. Kinyomtattam egyszerre 3 heti naptárt. Matricákkal fogjuk jelölni, hogy mi az, amit már teljesített Karina. A matricákat a Mahanaim gyülitől veszem.
